to start your journey towards renewal.
Healing America's Heroes is a non-profit organization that provides Equine and Piscatorial recreational therapy programs for veterans and first responders suffering from PTSD, MST, or TBI. Our programs are designed to promote physical, emotional, and psychological healing by connecting participants with nature and animals.
Equine and Piscatorial recreational therapy programs involve engaging in activities such as horseback riding or fishing, with the help of trained professionals. These activities provide a therapeutic and calming environment that can help alleviate symptoms of PTSD, MST, or TBI.
Our programs are open to all veterans and first responders who have served in the military or in law enforcement, firefighting, or emergency medical services.
We welcome volunteers who are passionate about our mission and want to make a difference in the lives of veterans and first responders. To become a volunteer, visit our "Get Involved" page on our website and complete the volunteer application form.
